Arsenal FC. employability initiative expanded to include Over 50’s

Arsenal Football Club will shortly begin supporting long-term unemployed people over 50 back into work through their ‘Arsenal in the Community’ employability programme.

Since 2011 the premier league team have assisted 200 young people through their 12 week programme which aims to improve participants English, mathematics and ICT skills as well as CV writing, interview technique.  

Arsenal in the Community has an extensive employer engagement programme which supports those on the programmes into paid work.
There are currently 10 employer partners from sectors including retail, construction, hospitality and food retail.
